- NTD 60,000 for those with a doctoral degree
- NTD 40,000 for those without a doctoral degree

Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply for this fellowship?
- Faculty members at foreign universities (professors, associate professors, assistant professors, senior lecturers, lecturers)
- Postdoctoral researchers, Ph.D. holders, doctoral candidates, or Ph.D. students
- Library personnel and researchers of equivalent rank at related academic institutions
- Scholars recommended by institutions with an academic cooperation MOU with NTL
- Research topics must align with Taiwan Studies or Southeast Asian Studies
- Applicants currently engaged in research, teaching, or studies in Taiwan are not eligible
Required Documents
The following are the required supporting documents for National Taiwan Library Fellowship:

- Curriculum Vitae (including a list of publications)
- Research proposal (maximum three pages, in English or Chinese)
- One recommendation letter (sent directly to wyw25@mail.ntl.edu.tw)
- Letter of approval from the highest administrative authority at the applicant’s institution

Selection Process
A panel of scholars and experts assigned by the Library will review the applications based on submitted documents and the following criteria:

- Alignment with the fellowship’s goals and Taiwan’s research interests
