Indiana University Global Philanthropy Fellowship 2025 for Postgraduate the USA (Fully Funded)
The Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, supported by the Giving USA Foundation, invites applications for the 2025 Global Philanthropy Fellowship. The fellowship is open to experienced global philanthropy and civil society researchers worldwide.
The selected fellow will receive a $50,000 stipend and collaborate with the Global Philanthropy Indices and Giving USA teams. They will conduct cross-national, comparative research and access academic resources, mentorship, and library services. Fellows will also present at major events, including the Giving Institute Meeting and Summer Symposium.
Applicants must hold at least a master’s degree; a PhD or postdoctoral qualification is a preference. The fellowship requires a minimum four-month residency in Indianapolis, with a full academic year (August-May) preferred.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold at least a Master’s degree in a relevant field (PhD/Postdoc strongly encouraged)
- Be an experienced researcher in philanthropy or civil society, whether affiliated with:
- Universities
- Think tanks
- Non-profit organizations
- Or independent researchers
- Show a strong interest in global philanthropy research
- Be able to reside in Indianapolis for a minimum of 4 months, preferably for the full academic year (August-May)
- Be open to scholars worldwide (U.S. and international applicants)
