Scholarship Benefits

Selected candidates will receive the following benefits:

- 700 RMB/month for Master’s students
- 1000 RMB/month for Ph.D. students
Monthly living stipend:
- 3,000 RMB for Master’s students
- 3,500 RMB for Ph.D. students

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a non-Chinese citizen
Good physical and mental health
Strong academic and behavioral record
Age Requirement:
- General applicants: 16-35 years old (as of September 1, 2025)
- Current Chinese language teachers: 45 years old
Aspiration to pursue a career in teaching or international promotion of the Chinese language
Academic Qualifications:
- Master’s: Bachelor’s degree required
- Ph.D.: Master’s degree in a related field required
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- Master’s: Minimum HSK Level 5 (210 points) and HSKK Intermediate (60 points)
- Ph.D.: Minimum HSK Level 6 (200 points) and HSKK Advanced (60 points)
Preference for applicants with proof of future employment in Chinese language education
