The KAUST Fellowship Program 2025 offers an exceptional opportunity for international students willing to pursue Master’s or Ph.D. degrees in science and technology. This fully funded, merit-based Fellowship is an initiative by the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. The program helps high-achieving students worldwide remove financial barriers.

KAUST Fellowship recipients will receive the following:
- Full tuition waiver (worth up to $35,000/year)
- Monthly stipend:
- Master’s students: $20,000/year
- Ph.D. students: $25,000–$30,000/year (based on academic progress)
- Free on-campus housing (worth $7,000/year, including utilities)
- Comprehensive health insurance (worth $1,450/year)
- Relocation support (visa, travel, and moving expenses)
Note: Additional costs may apply if dependents are accompanying the student.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry
- For Master’s: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- For Ph.D.: Hold a Master’s degree in a related field (academic Master’s required)
- Competitive GPA:
- 90% of admitted students have a GPA above 3.3
- 75% have a GPA above 3.5
- Minimum GPA required: 3.0/4.0 (or equivalent)
- English language proficiency (any one of the following):
- IELTS: 6.0 overall, minimum 5.5 in each section
- TOEFL iBT: 79 overall, minimum 17 in each section (KAUST code: 4107)
- PTE Academic: 62 overall, minimum 59 in all sections
- Cambridge Advanced (CAE): Overall 176, minimum 169 in all sections
